Born the daughter of sassy, legendary soulstress Millie Jackson, Keisha began singing professionally at age 15 as a background vocalist for her mother. She went on to record 2 albums with Sony Records. Keisha continues to uphold the legacy, commanding the stage with her gutsy performances, truly personifying raw SOUL.
In the background, Keisha has contributed vocals on recordings with iconic artists like Aretha Franklin, Toni Braxton, Whitney Houston, Kaiser Chiefs, Erasure, Da Brat and others.
She toured with rap music icons Outkast (20+), Erykah Badu (11), Angie Stone, George Clinton, Faith Evans, Raphael Saadiq, Yacht Rock Revue (current), and more.
30 years in the business, Keisha Jackson is not only a career vocalist. For 3 years, she co-hosted Dash Radio’s Soul Sisters weekly on-air show with the daughters of Isaac Hayes and James Brown. She’s also a certified life coach and a well-respected industry vocal coach. Keisha began her vocal coaching agency, One Voice Entertainment in 2001 and continues to mentor aspiring vocalists in Atlanta and across the globe. Keisha is currently promoting her latest project, Daughters Of Legacy, where she brings other daughters of iconic soul singers together for a dynamic, live concert experience and celebration of soul music.
